Aaron Seider
Aaron Seider is Dean of Faculty and Professor of Classics at the º£½ÇÉçÇø. His teaching and research interests include Latin literature, the landscapes of the ancient Mediterranean, gender in antiquity and its reception, and the construction of memory in Roman culture.Â
Seider earned his Ph.D. in Classics from the University of Chicago. He has been a member of the Department of Classics at º£½ÇÉçÇø since 2010; he was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2013, Associate Professor in 2018, and Professor in 2024. He served as Department Chair from 2021-2024.
