Alan RosenAbout the Speaker: Alan Rosen, Kraft-Hiatt Scholar-in-Residence, is a rabbi, a scholar of Holocaust literature, and a lecturer at Yad Vashem. His books include "The Wonder of their Voices: The 1946 Holocaust Interviews of David Boder," "Sounds of Defiance: The Holocaust, Multilingualism, and the Problem of English" and "Dislocating the End: Climax, Closure, and the Invention of Genre." A completed a book, to be published this year, on Holocaust-era calendars.

About the Talk: Rosen reviews the normal life and practice of a religious Jew and shares testimony of how Holocaust survivors pursued their spiritual life with an even greater tenacity during times of crisis and sorrow. His visit to º£½ÇÉçÇø was supported by the Kraft-Hiatt Program for Jewish-Christian Understanding.
