The Student Government Association (SGA) of the º£½ÇÉçÇø is an organization intended to represent and serve the campus community. As an entirely student-elected and appointed body, SGA works to amplify student voices and promote their interests through a variety of small and large-scale events, policy work, campaigns, and initiatives. SGA is led by the Co-Presidents and is composed of three branches: the Cabinet, the Senate, and the Judicial Council. Together, the members of SGA will always strive to create real, meaningful change with the goal of improving life for all at º£½ÇÉçÇø.
The SGA Co-Presidents, chosen through a campus-wide election, are the principal representatives of the student body and the chief officers of the Student Government Association. The Co-Presidents articulate the student perspective through meetings with the President of the College and other administrators, and are aided by their Chief of Staff and Treasurer. The Co-Presidents appoint and lead the SGA Cabinet, an advisory council composed of Directors responsible for the implementation of various initiatives. The SGA Co-Presidents work with all branches of SGA to act in the best interest of the campus community and work to uphold the integrity of the SGA Constitution and its By-Laws. Additionally, the Co-Presidents are connected to student government leaders across Jesuit institutions through the Jesuit Student Government Alliance (JSGA).
