Held each year, Classics Day is a daylong series of events relating to the study of Roman culture designed to familiarize high school students with the º£½ÇÉçÇø classics department, its faculty and current students.Â
Hundreds of students from high schools all over the Northeast visit º£½ÇÉçÇø for the event. The 49th Annual Classics Day is scheduled for Thursday, April 11, 2024, to be held in-person. The following categories are tentatively scheduled:
- certamen, a contest on Latin grammar, Roman and Greek mythology, Roman history, and Roman life art contest
- costume contest
