Biography

Susan Schmidt is a visual artist working in prints, drawing and artist’s books. She received her MFA in printmaking from the Pennsylvania State University and her BA in Studio Art and Art Education from Towson State University. Her prints have been been published in The Harvard Review and are included in Singular & Serial: Contemporary Monotype and Monoprint.  Her prints are in the collections of the Worcester Art Museum and the Boston Public Library. She is a member of the executive board of the Boston Printmakers and editor of The Boston Printmakers Quarterly.

Susan Schmidt is an Associate Professor in the Visual Arts Department where she teaches printmaking, artists’ books and drawing.
